Welcome to our Virtual Launch for the Out and About: Queering the Museum Project at RAMM.
We originally wanted to celebrate the launch of our National Heritage Lottery-funded project in the museum in March, but had to cancel our plans due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are very much looking forward returning to the museum when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, please check out the videos below to “meet” the core project team: socially engaged artist, Writer in Residence and Creative Heritage Producer Natalie McGrath; lead academic researcher Dr Jana Funke (University of Exeter) and Engagement Officer Ellie Coleman (RAMM).
What are your hopes for the project?
We also invite you to use the comment function below to tell us what you hope the project will achieve at RAMM, in Exeter and in the South West more broadly!
Please also consider signing up for our mailing list and explore the rest of the website to find out more about the project, including Natalie’s work as Writer in Residence, our LGBTQIA+ Rainbow Trail and our Queer Collector’s Case.
