This strand of the project has been completed, and we are not looking for interviewees at this moment. You can explore the interviews here.
We are looking for members of the LGBTQ+ community to engage with the RAMM’s collections and share aspects of their life story. You might already have a favourite object at RAMM that connects with an aspect of your gender or sexual identity. If not, we encourage you to browse the RAMM collections online to see if any objects resonate with you. We are also happy to meet with people to wander around the museum and see which object might spark an interesting discussion. The oral history interviews will be recorded and extracts will be shared as part of an installation in the museum. They will also be shared via the website and on other platforms. If you are interested in being part of the oral history project, please do contact us to find out more.
